Data just released by Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office indicates that 185 mass graves containing over 500 corpses have been found in the country in the last five years. Almost half were found in the state of Guerrero and a third in the city of Iguala, where the Ayotzinapa students disappeared. As a result of violence, there have been over 120 mass displacements between 2008 and 2010, with a fifth of them in Guerrero and a significant increase this year alone. teleSUR
