France reduced the number of its forces on the ground in the CAR from 2,600 to 900. Along with ten thousand UN troops, they are tasked with preventing violence between Muslims and Christians in the country.There are fears among residents that their number now will not be enough to prevent further violence especially that the heat of blood revenge is simmering deep within the relatives of victims.
