A week after the Mexican government agreed to open new lines of investigation into the whereabouts of the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students, the official version of the events came under renewed fire. The independent investigators blew further holes in the official claim that the students were killed and incinerated and together with the family members of the 43 demanded access to military personnel present at the time, whose subsequent questioning by authorities is not considered reliable.
