Italy’s glider aerobatics hero, Luca Bertossio, took first place at the FAI World Air Games 2015 in Dubai. After three breath taking rounds in the aerobatic gliding competition, he has beaten Hungarian pilot Ferenc Toth in to second place. Premsyl Vavra, of the Czech Republic, claimed bronze.
The FAI World Air Games, conducted under the rules of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), is the premier international multi-discipline air sports event fielding the world’s top athletes. The 2015 edition of the FAI World Air Games has been awarded to the United Arab Emirates for the first time and will be held in Dubai from 1 to 12 December 2015, presenting an array of 11 sports and 24 disciplines.
