Come Friday, Saturday and Sunday, sees Pattaya’s biggest night market bustles with activity offering retail therapy for everyone at the wide variety of stalls. Set up in 1999 to mainly create a central outlet for products from Eastern Thailand, it alos became a place to offer visitors the different cuisines from the four regions of country.
Browse through the hundreds of stalls hawking everything from stylish clothes, cool footwear and local handicrafts, to home décor, cheap electronics and pets, and then head to the food court for some sustenance that includes local dishes, desserts and fruits. Remember, bargaining is acceptable here.
The Thai Traditional Music Contest and other variety shows provide a throbbing soundtrack to the busy street.
