Palestinian media outlets reported Monday morning that a large number of Israeli troops raided the homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out stabbing attacks against Israelis in the West Bank cities of Nablus and Hebron. The Israeli forces were reportedly preparing to demolish the houses. Despite the shooting deaths of at least 103 Palestinians and the wounding of more than 3000 since October, the popular uprising of the Palestinians has extended from the area around the Al Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem into the 1948 occupied territories, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
