Every body knows that I do not drink
And yet if somebody fixes me one what can I do
Just once when eyes meet eyes
All my resolutions shatters what can I do

Every other inebriated person takes me for a drunk
Because my gait is as wobbly as theirs
A penchant for love runs in my veins
If people fails to grasp what can I do

I prayed in the mosques
That I may find whom I do love
What was my obligation I fulfilled
If God doesn't want what can I do

She was terrified upon hearing my state
Someone rushed in with her dishevelled hair
Both life and death wait in anxiety
If my last breath fails to escape what can I do

What kind of hate what kind of love where is it wrong
In intoxication Anwar lies my obsession
This life is nothing but a an addiction
If you cannot indulge what can I do
