This weekend at Megacon Fan Days, I encountered a guy wearing a Miami Dolphins shirt, along with a young boy wearing the same team shirt. He seemed friendly at first, wanting to get me on camera. But then, he kept calling me another name, then started over again, and another. When I tried to correct him, he kept insisting, and being an ass.
I started warning other cosplayers about him, and quite a few had actually encountered him before. He's gone to conventions, always with the same shtick. I spoke up, and warned Megacon. They now know to keep an eye out for him, just alert security.
His YouTube channel is called Jason Freddy, you can find it here:

He has a couple 'characters' he does, this one is apparently named 'Convention Charlie'. Now, we're all at conventions to have fun. No one wants to cause a scene, especially with a child there. But I later found out, he used the child to ask sexually inappropriate questions to some female cosplayers. And I believe he's using the child, his nephew as it turns out, as a human shield to keep people from going off on him.
On his channel, his videos are showing ads, which means they're monetized. He's humiliating cosplayers on camera, then PROFITING from it!
I've done my part, and warned Megacon. Now, it's up to you! Step 1, tell all your cosplayer friends about this guy, and warn them. If you encounter him, let security know. Step 2, contact the administrators running the various conventions in central and southern Florida. He has videos of Fan Expo, Tampa Bay Comic Con, Spooky Empire, Florida Supercon and more!
Update: After posting my video on several cosplay groups, the culprit outed himself on the Facebook group Florida Cosplayers. His name is Tim Mcnutt, and he's playing the victim there. I've been warned that a tactic he may use on me is to have his lady model friends approach me at a future con, bump into me, then claim I inappropriately touched them. Considering he makes his nephew use a toy lightsaber to lift up female cosplayer's skirts, I shouldn't be surprised. One model defending him asked that I not use her name, but I can be clever. Last name is the same as Country music star Loretta, first name: Deck the halls with boughs of _____.
