Kukesi shkruan historine, duke kaluar edhe turin e 3-të kualifikues te UEFA Europa League. Goli i shenuar ne minuten e 27-të te takimit nga Dimitrov, nuk i ka mjaftuar vendasve te Metalurg Donetsk per te kaluar turin. Me rezultatin e pergjithshem 1-2, djemte e Armando Cungut ia kane dale edhe kesaj here duke kaluar ne fazen e play-off, ku se bashku me Skenderbeun e Korçes do te jene dy ekipet shqiptare, qe per here te pare do te kerkojne te kualifikohen per fazen ne grupe te UEFA Europa League.
Shorti per fazen e play-off hidhet neser ne oren 13:00, ne Nyon. Ne kete faze, ekipeve te kualifikuara ne raundin e 3-të u bashkohen 15 ekipe ku perfshihen ata qe humben ne raundin e trete kualifikues te Uefa Champions League dhe ata qe nisin rrugen e tyre Europiane ne kete faze.
Ekipet ndahen ne 7 grupe per shortin. Brenda grupeve, ne nje numer te barabarte ekipet ndahen sipas renditjes fillestare te sezonit. Skuadrat nga e njejta federate nuk mund te ndeshen kundra njera-tjetres ne kete faze.
Per secilin grup, ekipet e ndara si me siper jane ne vazo te ndryshme. Dy sferat e terhequra nga seicila vazo vendosen ne nje vazo me te medha, nga ku ekipi qe terhiqet i pari luan ndeshjen e pare ne shtepi.
