Ish-punonjësi i shërbimeve inteligjente amerikane Eduard Snouden ka lene pas pese javësh strehim aeroportin e Moskës. Avokati i tij tha se Snouden është larguar ne orën 14:00 me atë lokale, pak pasi autoritetet ruse i kane dhënë atij kartën e identitetit ruse qe i mundësuan këtij te fundit udhëtimin. Ky dokument, qe mban edhe shenjat e gishti te madh te hakerit, është i vlefshëm deri me 31 korrik 2014. Përfaqësuesi i tij ligjor nuk beri te ditur vendin se ku do te ndaloje avioni i Snouden per arsye sigurie. Ndonëse ne aeroportin e Moskës kishte nje prani te larte te gazetareve, asnjeri prej tyre nuk arriti qe te filmonte nisjen e avionit, per shkak se gjithçka eshte kryer ne mënyrë te fshehte. Me heret gazeta britanike "The Guardian" ne nje artikull theksonte se agjencia amerikane e sigurisë, "NSA" ka akses ne shumicën e programeve ne internet ne te gjithë boten. Sipas "The Guardian", kjo realizohet përmes nje programi te posaçëm qe mundëson grumbullimin e te dhënave private përfshi këtu dhe adresa emailesh, numra telefoni dhe te dhena te tjera sekrete.
