Edi Rama ka shpallur sot strukturën e re te qeverise që do të drejtoje në shtator si kryeministër i vendit. Në ndryshim nga pasardhësi i tij, koalicioni PS-LSI, do të ketë 16 ministri dhe jo 15 ndërsa janë shtuar dy ministri pa dikaster dhe një zv/kryeministër që nuk do të ketë asnjë post tjetër. Ajo çka është interesante është ndarja e Ministrisë se Ekonomisë ne dy, atë të Zhvillimit Ekonomik, Tregtisë dhe Sipërmarrjes dhe te Energjikes e Industrie. Ministria e Transporteve ndahet dhe ajo ne 2, Transportit dhe Zhvillimit te Infrastrukturës dhe Ministria e Zhvillimit Urban dhe Turizmit. Ndryshim do te ketë në tre ministri, ku kalohen kompetencat në bazë te prioriteteve. Ajo çka është interesante është se kabineti i ri do te ketë dhe dy ministra, atë për Inovacionin dhe Administratën Publike dhe Ministrin e çështjeve vendore. Ndërsa sa i takon Ministrisë se Financave, asaj te Brendshme, te Mbrojtjes, Ministrisë se Jashtme, asaj te Mjedisit, Integrimit dhe Ministrisë se Drejtësisë, reforma e thelle strukturore do te jete brenda tyre pa prekje te jashtme. Edi Rama sqaroi se do ketë shkurtim drastik te kabinetit te kryeministrit ndërsa tha se do te shkurtohen dhe komitetet qe drejtohen prej tij. Kryeministri i zgjedhur, nuk beri te ditur detaje te merave përveç faktit qe kabineti i ri do te ketë një pjesëmarrje te madhe te femrave.
