Nje jave para zgjedhjeve te 23 qershorit, Shtetet e Bashkuara te Amerikes i kerkojne politikes shqiptare te zgjidhe krizen ne Komisionin Qendror te Zgjedhjeve, duke plotesuar vendet bosh. Ultimatumi eshte leshuar nga ambasadori amerikan ne Tirane, Aleksander Arvizu, gjate nje vizite ne Fier. Me nota kritike, diplomati amerikan shprehu keqardhje qe klasa politike shqiptare eshte treguar e paafte, duke mos plotesuar vendet bosh ne KQZ. Sipas zotit Arvizu, kriza ne institucionin zgjedhor nuk e ndihmon mbarevajtjen e procesit, por e pengon ate. Megjithate, ambasadori amerikan u shpreh se nuk eshte vone qe politika te plotesoje numrat ne KQZ.
A week before the elections of 23 June, the United States of America Albanian policy of seeking to resolve the crisis in the Central Election Commission, by filling in the blanks. The ultimatum was issued by the U.S. Ambassador in Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, during a visit to Fier. With critical notes, American diplomat expressed regret that the Albanian political class is incapable of showing, by not filling vacancies in the CEC. According to Mr. Arvizu election crisis in the institution does not help the progress of the process, but prevents it. However, the U.S. ambassador said later that the policy is not to meet the CEC numbers.
