Qe prej 4 qershorit hyjnë ne fuqi ndryshimet e fundit te Kodit Penal, te cilat kane ashpërsuar dënimin per nje kategori krimesh qe kane ndjeshmëri per shoqërinë. Por sipas juristeve ashpërsimi i dënimeve, sidomos ai i krimit ne familje nuk është rruga e duhur per te ulur kriminalitetin. Ndërkohë ne kod është parashikuar qe tashme vrasjet me dashje ato për gjakmarrje, gjykohen ne Gjykatën e Krimeve te Renda. E njëjta procedure do te ndiqet edhe për vrasjet ne familje. Deri tani kjo gjykate kishte kompetence vetëm gjykimin e vrasjeve per shkak te cilësive te veçanta si dhe trafiqeve.
