Nëse paga juaj mujore është 65 mije leke, pas aplikimit te taksës progresive te Partisë Socialiste, ju do te paguani ne muaj vetëm 2 mije leke tatim, ne vend te 6 mije e 500 leke, qe paguani aktualisht. Ky është një shembull i llogaritjes se tatimit mbi pagat, qe do te aplikoje partia socialiste, sipas te cilit kursimet e çdo shqiptari rriten ndjeshëm gjate një muaji. Kjo llogaritje mund te behet nga cilido ne faqen e zyrtare te PS, për te kuptuar nivelin e taksës, qe do te paguaje, nëse PS vjen ne pushtet. Përfaqësues te kësaj partie, se do te tatohen nen 10 % pagat e shumicës se shqiptareve. Por Partia Demokratike e konsideron si te paqarte këtë lloj tatimi, ndërsa mbron idenë e taksës se sheshte, qe sipas mazhoraces, i ka dhëne me shume frymëmarrje biznesit. Takse e sheshte apo progresive, është një debat qe ka ndare ekonomistet ne llogore te ndryshme, dhe duket shtylla qe diferencon programin ekonomik te PD-se dhe PS-se.
