Ne ditën e dyte te vizitës ne Shqipëri, Xhonatan Mur, drejtori per Europen Qendrore dhe Jugore ne Departamentin Amerikan te Shtetit ka komentuar situatën ne Komisionin Qendror te Zgjedhjeve dhe klimën parazgjedhore. Nga Durrësi ku u takua me drejtues te pushtetit vendor, zyrtari i larte amerikan i beri apel klasës politike te zgjidhe krizën e KQZ-së. Sipas tij, institucioni zgjedhor duhet te ketë 7 anëtarë qe te mirefunskionoje. Zoti Mur nënvizoi se Shtetet e Bashkuara do t'i kushtojnë një vëmendje te veçante 23 qershorit dhe situatës para e pas zgjedhore. Këto komente Xhonatan Mur i beri pas takimit me kryetarin e bashkise se Durrësit Vangjush Dako. Gjate vizitës ne këtë qytet, zyrtari i larte është takuar edhe me prefektin e qytetit bregdetar Genc Juka dhe nënkryetarin e Frymës se Re Demokratike njëherësh kandidatin për deputet ne Durrës, Gazmend Oketa. Një dite me pare zoti Mur u takua me kryeministrin Berisha, kreun e PS-së Edi Rama, kreun e LSI-së Meta dhe me kandidatin për deputet te PD, Eduart Selami. Por duket se asnjë zgjidhje konkrete nuk ka deri tani nga këto takime lidhur me çështjen e KQZ-së.
