Gjate turit te inaugurimeve ne qytetet e vendit, kryeministri Berisha ka akuzuar kreun e PS-së Edi Rama, për bllokimin e statusit te vendit kandidat. Sipas tij alternativa e socialisteve është damkosja dhe mohimi dhe jo integrimi i vendit ne BE. "Tre ligjet janë bllokuar nga zoti Edi Rama, me qëllimin e vetëm për të dëmtuar sipas mendjes se tij qeverinë, në të vërtetë ai dëmton një interes jetik të çdo shqiptari. Sepse statusi i vendit kandidat do të thotë disa qindra milionë euro falas investime nga KE, për rrugë, ujësjellësa, shkolla, spitale, në mënyrë që shqiptarët të jetojnë, të kenë infrastrukturën e qytetarëve europianë. Duke bllokuar 3 ligjet, zoti Rama shkelmoi ëndrrën e çdo të riu shqiptar."- u shpreh kryeministri. Berisha inauguroi rrugën Kukës- Shishtavec me vlere 1.2 miliardë leke, si dhe ndërtimin e 4 ujësjellësve për 15 mije banoret e zonës.
