Kete pamje pritet te marre banesa dykatëshe e shpallur monument kulture, e cila u shkrumbua nga zjarri ne vitin 1999. Pavarësisht akordimit te fondeve per restaurimin e saj, punimet ne arkitekturën e fasadës u penguan nga banoret e shtëpisë ngjitur, ku sipas projektit duhet te mbështetej ne te nje hark i gurte. Tashme banoret kane rene dakord qe te shembin nje pjese te shtëpisë kundrejt shumes se ofruar prej 1.5 milion lekësh. Godina synohet te jete nje qendër multikulturore. Brenda saj, veç ambienteve muze ku ka punuar gjeniu i letrave shqipe, do te ngrihet nje biblioteke me vepra jo vetëm te Kadaresë, por dhe te autoreve te njohur botërore si dhe nje salle leximi. Kostoja totale e restaurimit te shtëpisë se Kadaresë pritet te arrije ne 250 mije euro, një pjese e te cilave eshte akorduar nga UNESCO.
