"Pakti i nënshkruar mes Serbisë dhe Kosovës është rruga e duhur qe çon te dyja vendet drejt integrimit". Ky ka qene qëndrimi i drejtorit për çështjet e Evropës ne Departamentin Amerikan te Shtetit, Xhonatan Mur, gjate seancës se nenkomisionit te mbajtur ne dhomën e përfaqësuesve te kongresit amerikan. Mur tha se nuk do te këtë këmbim territoresh por vetëm përmirësim te marrëdhënieve nderfqinjesore. "Pavarësisht nga vështirësitë, kjo marrëveshje është mënyra më e mire per te ecur përpara. Pajtimi është synimi i Serbisë dhe Kosovës dhe jo ndarja, apo këmbimi i territoreve. Prandaj sovraniteti i autoriteteve kosovare është një fasadë, një iluzion që në të ardhmen do të dëmtojë të dyja palët. Thelbi i sovranitetit është kontrolli i forcave të sigurisë. Marrëveshja e vendos personelin e sigurisë dhe rendit nën komandën e Kosovës, megjithatë komandanti rajonal i veriut do të jetë një serb vendas i emëruar nga qeveria e Kosovës". Ndërkohë eurokomisioneri Fyle gjate takimit me zv/kryeministren Vlora Çitaku tha se komisioni evropian paraqiti propozimin e tij për të negociuar direktivat për një marrëveshje të stabilizim-asociimit.
"The pact signed between Serbia and Kosovo is the right way that leads towards integration of both countries." This has been the position of Director for European Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, Jonathan Moore, during the subcommittee hearing held in the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress. Moore said that this exchange will not only upgrade the territories neighborly relations. "Despite the difficulties, this agreement is the best way to move forward. Reconciliation is the goal of Serbia and Kosovo, and no division or exchange of territories. Therefore sovereignty of Kosovo authorities is a facade, an illusion that in the future will hurt both sides. The essence of sovereignty is control of security forces. The agreement establishes the safety and security personnel under the command of Kosovo, however, the northern regional commander will be appointed a local Serbs from the Kosovo government ". Meanwhile eurokomisioneri Fule during the meeting with Deputy / Çitaku Prime Minister said that the European Commission presented its proposal for negotiating directives for a stabilization and association agreement.
