Tensioni i krijuar pas shkarkimit te Ilirjan Muhos është reflektuar edhe ne Komisionin Qendror te Zgjedhjeve ne tavolinën e te cilit ishin vetëm kartelat me emrat e përfaqësuesve te propozuar nga opozita ndërkohë qe karriget kane mbetur bosh pas dorëheqjes se Denar Bibes dhe Albana Shtylles dhe vendimit te Jani Janit për te bojkotuar mbledhjen. Kjo mbledhje e pare e KQZ vetëm me 4 përfaqësuesit e propozuar nga maxhoranca është shoqëruar me debate rreth krizës ku është futur ky institucion pas shkarkimit te Ilirjan Muhos. Përfaqësuesi i PS Genc Gjoncaj ka deklaruar se KQZ tashme ka humbur besimin e qytetareve pas vendimit qe parlamenti mori ne 15 prill, por homologu i tij demokrat Njazi Kosovrasti tha se KQZ mund te zbatoje detyrat e saj për përgatitjen e zgjedhjeve me 4 anëtare. Pa debate KQZ miratoi listën e partive te regjistruara për zgjedhjet parlamentare dhe nga 71 forca politike qe kishin paraqitur kërkesën per regjistrim vetëm 4 prej tyre KQZ nuk i regjistroi për mungese dokumentacioni. KQZ miratoi dhe ngritjen e komiteteve nismëtare qe do te punojnë për 3 kandidate qe do garojnë te pavarur ne 23 qershor mes te cilëve edhe ish i përndjekuri politik Skënder Tufa.
