Edi Rama premton se me ardhjen Partisë Socialiste ne pushtet, do te depolitizoje jetën shoqërore ne vend, e do te shpëtoje sportin e kulturën nga ndikimet partiake. Rama iu referua incidenteve ne stadiumet shqiptare mes policisë dhe sportdashësve, duke lëshuar kritika për pozicionimin e policisë. Kryetar i Partisë Socialiste u ndal dhe tek krijimi i politikave stimuluese. Si mase te pare ai premton ndryshim te ligjit te lojërave te fatit, dhe funksionimin e Lotarisë Kombëtare. Për te vërtetuar se perlat e trashëgimisë kulturore po shkatërrohen Rama merr si shembull Shkodrën, Beratin apo Butrintin. Ne Programin për Sportin PS, parashikon investimin e 1.5% te buxhetit te shtetit pas ardhjes ne pushtet. Ndërhyrja e privatit ne sport dhe ne kulture me investime dhe si sipërmarrës është një tjetër propozim i ardhur nga PS, ndërsa prioritet do te jene stimulimi i sportisteve te mire, rregullimi i terreneve sportive e futja e sportit ne shkolla.
