Vetëm 1 km larg qytetit te Fierit, nxënësit studiojnë ne kushte mjerane. Godina e shkollës se fshatit Mbyet deri ne vitet '90 ka shërbyer si magazine. Objekti është tërësisht i amortizuar dhe nuk plotëson as kushtet me minimale. Per me tepër muret jane çare, duke rrezikuar edhe jetën e dhjetëra fëmijëve. Larg atmosferës festive te 7 marsit qe ofron kryeqyteti, banoret e kësaj zone bëjnë thirrje per gjetjen e nje godine te sigurte e te përshtatshme per shkollimin e fëmijëve. Si ne Mesjete mësojnë edhe mbi 200 nxënës te fshatit Kallm. Ndertesa nuk i është nënshtruar restaurimit per te paktën 23 vjet. Drejtues te komunës Mbrostar ku ndodhet edhe fshati Kallm, thonë se kane dërguar nje vit me pare ne ministri projektin per restaurim, por deri tani nuk kane marre nje përgjigje pozitive. Ne te njëjtën gjendje ndodhen gjashte shkolla ne rrethin e Fierit, por dhe dhjetëra te tjera Krujë, Berat, Lushnjë e Mirditë.
