Ne Shqipëri 1.3 milionë persona janë përdorues te rregullt te internetit. Nga keta 78% jane nen moshën 24 vjeç, ndersa 6% jane grupmoshen 13-15 vjeç.
Megjithatë, asnje nuk ka shifra te sakta sa te mitur nen moshën e lejuar 13 vjeç jane pjese e rrjeteve sociale ne te cilat hedhin te dhenat personale, fotot dhe mendimet e tyre. Ne nje konference per sigurinë e fëmijëve ne internet ambasadoret e BE dhe SHBA kane kërkuar krijimin e legjislacionit per ndëshkimin e atyre personave qe jane pjese e krimit kibernetik. Sipas te dhënave te organizatave ndërkombëtare qe merren me fëmijët ne Shqipëri, nje pjese e mire e te pyeturve ne shkollat 9-vjeçare kane pohuar se iu është kërkuar nga persona te rritur te lenë takime intime ne vende te fshehta. Specialistet iu kërkojnë edhe prindërve te kenë nen kontroll përdorimin e internetit nga fëmijët dhe informacionet qe ata ndajnë me te tjerët.
In Albania 1.3 million people are regular users of the internet. Of these 78% are under the age of 24, while 6% are the age group of 13-15 years.
However, no one has precise figures as minors under the age of consent 13 years of being part of social networks which take personal data, photos and thoughts. At a conference on children's safety online ambassadors of the EU and the U.S. have been urging the creation of legislation for the punishment of persons who are part of cyber crime. According to the data of international organizations that deal with children in Albania, a good part of respondents have said 9-year schools that have been asked by adults to leave intimate meetings in secret places. Experts were also require parents to have control of Internet use by children and the information they share with others.
