Kabineti i përfaqësueses të lartë për politikë të jashtme në BE, Ketrin Eshton, konfirmon zyrtarisht se më 6 shkurt, do të takohen në Bruksel, Presidentja e Kosovës Atifete Jahjaga, me homologun serb, Tomislav Nikoliç.
Sipas njoftimit për mediat, ky takim synon normalizimin e marrëdhënieve mes dy vendeve. Bisedimet Jahjaga-Nikoliç nuk pritet të mbyllen me ndonjë marrëveshje konkrete, por qëllimi i tyre është thjesht simbolik. Ato synojnë përforcimin e dialogut ekzistues në nivel kryeministrash, si dhe atij në nivel ekspertësh. Bashkë me konfirmimin e takimit Jahjaga-Nikoliç, zyrtarët europianë kanë publikuar edhe datën e raundit të pestë të bisedimeve mes Thaçit dhe Daçiç. Bisedimet e radhës mes dy krerëve të qeverive të Prishtinës e Beogradit, janë caktuar më 22 shkurt. Si herët e kaluara, ato do të ndërmjetësohen nga baronesha Eshton.
Cabinet high representative for EU foreign policy, Catherine Ashton, officially confirmed on February 6, will meet in Brussels, President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga, Serbian counterpart, Tomislav Nikolic.
According to the press media, the meeting aimed at normalizing relations between the two countries. Jahjaga-Nikolic talks are expected to shut down any concrete agreements, but their purpose is purely symbolic. They aim to strengthen existing dialogue at prime ministers, as well as the expert level. Along with the confirmation of Jahjaga meeting-Nikolic, European officials have released the date of the fifth round of talks between Thaci and Dacic. Upcoming talks between the two heads of government in Pristina and Belgrade, are scheduled on February 22. Like old times, they will be mediated by Baroness Ashton.
