Te gjithë maturantet, nga ata qe jetojnë ne qytet deri tek ata te zonave me te thella plotësimet e formularëve te maturës shtetërore do t'i bëjnë nëpërmjet internetit, nga tre provime me zgjedhje sivjet do te kenë vetëm dy dhe brenda 31 qershorit do t'i mbyllin te katërt provimet e maturës. Këto janë ndryshimet qe prekin këtë vit procesin e maturës shtetërore. Risia është aplikimi vetëm on line i maturanteve, te cilët duhet te tregohen te kujdesshëm ne çdo plotësim te formularëve A1 dhe A2. Sivjet procesit te maturës shtetërore do t'i nënshtrohen edhe maturante te kthyer nga emigracioni, kryesisht Greqia. Aktualisht problemi me i madh i tyre është gjuha amtare, veçanërisht ne te shkruar. Por ministria e Arsimit deklaron se pavarësisht problemeve me shqipen, te gjithë maturantet do te hyjnë te barabarte ne provimet e maturës. Për fëmijët e emigranteve po aplikohen ore shtese për te përvetësuar gjuhen amtare. Fundviti i 2012 ka kthyer dhe regjistruar ne shkollat shqiptare 2009 fëmije emigrantesh, 150 prej te cilëve maturante.
