Organizata botërore e futbollit ka mare vendimin përfundimtar për zhvillimin ose jo te ndeshjeve miqësore nga ana e Kosovës. Ne mbledhjen e fundit për këtë vit ne Japoni ku është duke u zhvilluar edhe botërorit i klubeve komiteti ekzekutiv i FIFA-s ka rikonfirmuar vendimin qe ka marre ne 21 maj qe Kosova te zhvilloje ndeshje miqësore ndërkombëtare por duke anashkaluar kombëtaren e te rriturve. Ne deklaratën për shtyp FIFA citon se konform vendimit te marre me 21 maj te këtij viti për ti lejuar anëtaret e FIFA-s te luajnë ndeshje miqësore ndërkombëtare me ekipet nga federata e futbollit te Kosovës e cila nuk është anëtar i FIFA-s, ekzekutivi ka rene dakord qe ky vendim te hyje menjëherë ne fuqi për te rinjtë amatoret, femrat dhe klubet e futbollit. Por ne njoftimin e publikuar ne faqen zyrtare te FIFA-s nuk përmendet ne asnjë rresht përfaqësuesja a e Kosovës duke e bere këtë vendim gjysme pozitiv për te ardhmen e futbollit kosovar. Vendimi i majit u shty dhe u pezullua disa here pas ndërhyrjes se forte te federatës serbe te futbollit e mbështetur nga kreu i UEFA-s Mishel Platini qe e cilësonte vendimin e FIFA-s thjesht politik Kosova u diskutua ne piken 18 te rendit te ditës se mbledhjes se komitetit ekzekutiv te FIFA-s qe përfshinte çështjet politiko-sportive.
