Ambasadori i Bashkimit Europian ne Tirane Ettore Sequi ka lajmeruar deshtimin per here te trete te Shqipërisë ne procesin e integrimit.
Pas nje tryeze mes donatoreve dhe qeverise, ambasadori Sequi ka deklaruar se Shqipëria mund te prese nga vendet anetare nje vendim pozitiv per statusin vetem kur te plotesoje 3 kushtet e vendosura nga komisioni ne 12 tetor. Por kjo sfide duket me e veshtire se kurre pasi maxhoranca dhe opozita diten qe Shqipërisë i refuzohet statusi nuk kane folur per bashkëpunim dhe votim reformash por kane akuzuar njera-tjetren si pergjegjese per deshtimin. Ministrja e Integrimit Majlinda Bregu ka deklaruar se nuk mund te tolerohet nje opozite qe bllokon integrimin; nderkohe qe kryetari socialist e komisionit te Integrimit ka deklaruar se zgjedhjet dhe lufta ndaj korrupsionit jane çeshtjet zgjidhja e te cilave mban larg statusin e kandidatit. "Sfida e parë është që asnjë vendim politik nuk duhet të tolerohet nëse shkon kundër dëshirës dhe aspiratës së qytetarëve e nëse bllokon procesin e integrimit. Sfida e kësaj qeverie është të mos lejojë, në asnjë ditë, që një vendim politik që bllokon procesin e integrimit, të bllokojë dhe realizimin e reformave të ndërmarra nga kjo administratë dhe nga kjo qeveri.", - ka thene Bregu. Ne 12 tetor komisioneri per zgjerimin Stefan Fule deklaroi se Shqipëria duhet te miratonte ligjin per gjykaten e Larte, per nenpunesin civil dhe reformen parlamentare ne menyre qe Komisioni Europian te rekomandonte dheniee e statusit te kandidatit. Nderkohe mediat europiae kane paralajmëruar se ne listen e kushteve per Shqipërinë do te shtohen dhe zgjedhjet me standarde ne vitin 2013.
European Union Ambassador in Tirana Ettore Sequi announced for the third time failure of Albania to the integration process.
After a round between donors and government, Ambassador Sequi said that Albania can expect the member countries a positive decision on the status only when it meets 3 conditions set by the Commission on 12 October.
