Ka kaluar rreth 1 vit nga mbajtja e Censusit te përgjithshëm për regjistrimin e popullsisë ne Shqipëri, por ende rezultatet Finale nuk janë bere publike. 1 tetori 2012, është përcaktuar nga vete INSTAT, institucioni përgjegjës për regjistrimin e popullsisë, si data e shpalljes se rezultateve te anketimit. Por edhe pse ora ka kaluar 19.00 e mbrëmjes, nuk ka asnjë te dhëne. Ky është kalendari i botimeve, për vitin 2012, ku është parashikuar çdo publikim për periudhën ne vazhdim. INSTAT është mjaftuar me këtë njoftim qe gjendet ne faqen zyrtare te INSTAT ku deklarohet se dhënia e rezultateve është shtyre për ne dhjetor 2012 por pa sqaruar nëse ka te drejte ky institucion te caktoje vete një date tjetër për te publikuar te dhënat. Nga ana tjetër, edhe parlamenti shqiptar është i implikuar ne shkeljet qe po kryen INSTAT, për mos-publikimin e te dhënave te kohe. Programi i fundit 5 vjeçar i miratuar ne Kuvend, ka mbaruar ne fund te vitit 2011. Edhe pse kane kaluar 9 muaj, nuk është miratuar programi i ardhshëm. Ky është një detyrim qe rrjedh nga ligji për "për statistikat zyrtare", miratuar ne shkurt te vitit 2004. Ne nenin 6 te ligjit thuhet se "Kuvendi miraton programin e statistikave zyrtare, i cili mbulon periudhën e pese viteve kalendarike. Programi botohet ne Fletoren Zyrtare". Shqipëria realizoi Censusin, ose siç njihet regjistrimi i popullsisë, nga data 1 deri ne 21 tetor 2011, pavarësisht debatit te forte qe provokoi ky proces. Deri tani janë bere publike vetëm disa te dhëna paraprake, si numri i popullsisë dhe numri i banesave. Por ende publiku nuk njeh përgjigjet e pyetjeve te shume debatuara, si përkatësia fetare, etnia, apo kushtet social-ekonomike ne te cilat janë shqiptaret.
