Ne ditën e gjashte te grevës se urisë se ish-te burgosurve politike, e kur ata nuk janë vizituar deri me tani nga asnjë zyrtar i larte i shtetit, ambasadori amerikan Aleksandër Arvizu ka qene pranë tyre duke mbështetur grevistet. Diplomati i larte amerikan ka dëgjuar kërkesat e ish-te përndjekurve dhe është shprehur se ata meritojnë te jetojnë me dinjitet. Me herët grevistet e urisë janë vizituar edhe nga kryetari i FRD Bamir Topi i shoqëruar nga deputeteti Gazmend Oketa dhe Aleksandër Biberaj. Topi ka shtuar se dëmshpërblimi mund te ishte mbyllur vite me parë pasi mundësitë ekzistonin. Pranë tyre është gjendur gjate këtë te premte edhe kryetari i Aleancës Kuq e Zi Kreshnik Spahiu.
