Ambasadori i Bashkimit Evropian ne Tirane, Ettore Sequi, është takuar paraditen e se hënës me kreun e opozitës, Edi Rama. Pas një takimi rreth 40 minuta ne selinë roze, Sequi u shpreh se u diskutuan një sere çështjesh, si: marrja e statusit te vendit kandidat, ligji për Gjykatën e Larte, si dhe integrimi ne Bashkimin Evropian. Diplomati i BE u shpreh me nota optimiste pas takimit dhe i bindur se klasa politike shqiptare do te gjeje gjuhen e përbashkët për te miratuar reformat e rëndësishme. "Takimi ishte shumë i ngrohte, shumë konstruktiv, do të thoja se vura re dëshirën e opozitës për të ecur përpara në rrugëtimin e Shqipërisë drejt BE. Unë jam i sigurt se dhe në të ardhmen opozita do luajë një rol konstruktiv për të ecur përpara. Unë them që integrimi në Bashkimin Evropian është një objektiv kombëtar, është një objektiv i të gjithëve," u shpreh Sequi. I pyetur për ligjin e Gjykatës se Larte ambasadori Sequi shprehu bindjen se ne fund klasa politike do te arrij konsensus dhe për këtë çështje te rëndësishme. "Edhe unë e kam ndjekur debatin që është bërë në Shqipëri gjatë gjithë këtij viti. Reformat e rëndësishme si ajo zgjedhore dhe Avokati i Popullit ishin në fund të suksesshme. Unë jam një njeri që kam besim në ndërgjegjësimin e politikës që integrimi është një prioritet për Shqipërinë dhe kjo do të mbetet në qendër," tha me tej ai.
