Fundi i mbikëqyrjes se pavarësisë se Kosovës do te thotë zbatim i ligjeve te pakos Ahtisari, shfuqizim i prezencës ndërkombëtare si dhe kalimi i kompetencave ekzekutive tek qeveria dhe parlamenti i Kosovës. Kryetari i komisionit për ndryshime kushtetuese Arsim Bajrami shpjegon se disa amendamente te kushtetutës se Kosovës kane te bëjnë me liritë fetare dhe disa te drejta qe sipas planit Ahtisari do ti ketë Kisha ortodokse serbe, per te respektuar pakicat ne Kosove. Përfundimi i pavarësisë se mbikëqyrur tregon se tani Kosova është e gatshme te vetëqeveriset nga institucionet e saj, si një shtet Sovran. Kjo ,sipas ekspertit te fushës kushtetuese Florent Muçaj, do te sjelle me shume përgjegjësi per institucionet, qe me parè i takonin zyrës civile ndërkombëtare ne Prishtine. Por si do te ndikoje heqja e mbikëqyrjes ndërkombëtare tek komunitetet e tjera qe jetojnë ne Kosove? Votimi i amendamenteve kushtetuese kërkon 2/3 e votave te shumicës dhe po ashtu 2/3 e votave te pakicave. Kjo procedure është një nga kushtet kryesore përpara zyrtarizimit te heqjes se mbikëqyrjes se pavarësisë nga Grupi Drejtues Ndërkombëtar qe pritet te marre vendimin me 10 shtator.
End of supervision that Kosovo independence will mean application of the laws of Ahtisaari package, cancellation international presence as well as the transfer of executive powers to the government and parliament of Kosovo. Chairman of the committee for constitutional amendments Arsim Bajrami explained that some amendments to the constitution of Kosovo have to do with religious freedom and certain rights under the Ahtisaari plan will be the Serbian Orthodox Church, to respect minorities in Kosovo. Completion of supervised independence shows that Kosovo is ready to govern its institutions, as a sovereign state. This, according to the constitutional domain expert Florent Muçaj, will bring more accountability for institutions that previously belonged to the International Civilian Office in Pristina. But how will affect the lifting of international supervision to other communities living in Kosovo? Voting constitutional amendment requires 2/3 vote of the majority as well as 2/3 of the votes of minorities. This procedure is one of the main conditions before instituting lifting independence surveillance by the International Steering Group is expected to take a decision on 10 September.
