Ministri i Mbrojtjes Arben Imami ka pritur ndërrimin e Presidentit për te çuar emrin e ri te komandantit te Forcës Detare. Ndryshe nga janari i këtij viti kur ministri Imami e emëroi Ferdinand Kreshpanin ne krye te forcës detare pa e çuar emrin ne presidence këtë here ai ka korrigjuar gabimin duke ia propozuar kreut te shtetit Bujar Nishani emrin e Qemal Shkurtit si komandant te Forcës Detare. Imami u tërhoq nga emërimi i Kreshpanit vetëm pas reagimit te ashpër te opozitës por edhe te Presidentit te asaj kohe Bamir Topi te cilët deklaruan se emërimi ishte ne kundërshtim me kushtetutën. Por ndërrimi i Presidentit duket se i ka hapur rruge edhe një sere ndryshimesh te tjera ne kupolën e forcave te armatosura, pasi me propozim te ministrit Imami kreu i shtetit Nishani ka dekretuar edhe ndryshimin e zëvendësshefit te shtabit te përgjithshëm te forcave te armatosura, te komandantit te doktrinës dhe stërvitjes, te komandantit te brigadës logjistike. Ndërkohe qe është larguar nga detyra edhe ish-komandanti i doktrinës se stërvitjes gjeneral brigade Agim Lala i cili ka qene i akuzuar ne çështjen "Gërdeci" dhe qe u shpall i pafajshëm nga Gjykata.
