Besimtaret myslimane te Shkodres e kane kthyer tashme ne tradite pjesëmarrjen ne iftar ne sheshin kryesor te qytetit. Për te gjashtin vit radhazi, qindra besimtare janë mbledhur ne sheshin "Zogu i Pare", ne xhaminë e Parruces për iftarin tradicional. Aktiviteti organizohet nga Bashkia e Shkodres dhe Bashkia e Stambollit, ndaj përveç besimtareve myslimane iftari është përshëndetur edhe nga ambasadori turk ne Tirane. Muaji i Ramazanit, me mesazh harmonie e paqeje, i cili mbahet ne te gjithë boten myslimane ka nisur ne 19 korrik dhe pritet qe agjërimi te mbyllet me 18 gusht, për te vijuar te nesërmen me festen e Bajramit.
