Gazetaret firmëtare te peticionit kundër Bashkise se Tiranes, te cilët kërkojnë transparence për projektin e zgjerimit te Rrugës se Elbasanit, janë pritur ne mesdite nga ambasadori i SHBA ne Shqipëri, Aleksander Arvizu. Takimi qe zgjati me shume se 1.30 minuta u mbajt ne selinë e ambasadës. Kryediplomati amerikan u shpreh se mbështet shqetësimin e mediave, për te hedhur drite mbi aktivitetin e institucioneve ne punët publike. Zoti Arvizu theksoi se edhe çështja e referendumit për plehrat, duhet trajtuar me prioritet sepse është zëri i shoqërisë civile. Peticioni i gazetareve me te njohur ne vend për transparence me projektin e Rrugës se Elbasanit, ku nder te tjera u prenë edhe pemët e Parkut Kombëtar te Liqenit, pasoi protestat e grupimeve te shoqërisë civile qe e kundërshtuan sipas tyre, dëmtimin pa kriter te faunës.
Journalists signatory to the petition against the Municipality of Tirana, who require expansion project transparency to Elbasan Road, are expected at midday from the U.S. ambassador in Albania, Alexander Arvizu. The meeting lasted more than 1:30 minutes was held at the headquarters of the embassy. U.S. top diplomat expressed concern that media supports, to shed light on the activities of institutions in public affairs. Mr. Arvizu stated that the issue of referendum for fertilizers, should be treated with priority because it is the voice of civil society. The petition of journalists in our country for transparency with the way project Elbasan, where among others the trees were broken off Lake National Park, followed protests by civil society groups that were opposed by their indiscriminate damage to fauna.
