Ka dështuar tentativa e radhës se policisë për te hyre ne brendësi te fshatit Lazarat. Një operacion antidroge i drejtuar nga nëndrejtori i Përgjithshëm i Policisë se Shtetit Muhamet Rrumbullaku, me efektive te policisë qarku Gjirokastër, forcat e ndërhyrjes se shpejte dhe delta force, kane tentuar te ndërhyjnë ne Lazarat, por kane hasur ne rezistencën e banoreve te cilët kane hapur zjarr kundrejt tyre. Sipas burimeve nga policia, uniformat blu gjate orëve te natës si dhe mëngjesin e sotëm kane tentuar te hyjnë ne fshat nëpërmjet Delvinës, por ata janë përballur me breshëri plumbash. Drejtues te aksionit policor i kane bere thirrje banoreve qe te distancohen, por ne fund ka qene policia ajo qe është tërhequr. Nga shkëmbimi i zjarrit nuk ka patur te plagosur. Megjithatë policia bën te ditur se ka mundur te asgjësojë mbi 5 mije rrënjë kanabis sativa, ndërsa janë ndaluar 5 punëtore te cilët po vadisnin parcelat e mbjella me hashash. U sekuestruan edhe 3 kamionë, 2 autobote si dhe dy automjete nga te cilët u qellua me arme zjarri. Autoritetet pohojnë se operacioni është ne vazhdim, ndërkohë qe ne afërsi te fshatit Lazarat janë ngritur 3 postblloqe te cilat kryejnë kontrolle te automjete qe cilat lëvizin ne aksin rrugor Gjirokastër-Dervican.
