Kryeministri Berisha ka takuar gjate samitit te Dubrovnikit ne Kroaci zëvendëssekretarin e departamentit te shtetit te SHBA Philip Gordon. Ky takim është shfrytëzuar nga Gordon, për ti uruar kreut te qeverise shqiptare zgjedhjen e presidentit te ri te vendit, ndërsa nga kryeministri për të përcjellë mesazhe sa i takon reformave ende të pambyllura. Vetëm një ditë pasi mazhoranca depozitoi ne kuvend nismën për heqjen e imunitetit per zyrtaret e larte, kryeministri e ka cilësuar këtë reforme si jashtëzakonisht të rëndësishme dhe thelbësore për luftën kundër korrupsionit. Në takimin me Gordon, Berisha ka theksuar se nisma përmbush angazhimin e hershëm të qeverisë dhe se mazhoranca mbetet e hapur për mbështetjen më të gjere nga i gjithë spektri politik. Berisha ka shprehur angazhimin për të përmbushur 12 prioritetet përfshire dhe përmbylljen e reformës zgjedhore afati i së cilës është deri më 12 korrik. Në një tjetër takim me ministrin e jashtëm te Austrisë Michael Spindelegeer, kryeministrit Berisha i është premtuar kthimi i armeve te Skënderbeut ne "100-vjetorin e pavarësisë" se Shqipërisë. Siç edhe behet e ditur përmes faqes zyrtaret e këshillit te ministrave, Spindelegeer ka premtuar se përkrenarja dhe shpata e Skënderbeut do te sillen ne Shqipëri për tu ekspozuar ne kremtimin e kësaj ngjarje te rëndësishme për shqiptaret.
Premier has met during the summit in Croatia Dubrovnikit deputy secretary of U.S. Department of State Philip Gordon. This meeting was used by Gordon, to congratulate the head of the Albanian government choosing a new president of the country, while the prime minister to convey messages regarding the reforms still unlocked. Just a day after the ruling majority in parliament filed the initiative to remove immunity for senior officials, Prime Minister has described this reform as extremely important and essential in the fight against corruption. In a meeting with Gordon, Berisha said that the initiative meets the government's early commitment and that the majority remain open for more extensive support across the political spectrum. Berisha expressed the commitment to meet the 12 priorities including electoral reform and the completion deadline which is until July 12. In another meeting with the Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegeer, Prime Minister, promised the return of weapons of Skanderbeg in the "100-anniversary of the independence" of Albania. As it becomes known through the official website of the Council of Ministers, promised Spindelegeer helmet and sword of Scanderbeg in Albania will be brought to be exhibited in celebration of this important event for the Albanians.
