Një dite pas denoncimit te Partisë Socialiste, Ministria e Mbrojtjes është tërhequr dhe ka lejuar deputetet te ushtrojnë kontrollin mbi këtë institucion. Gjate një takimi qe deputetet socialiste kane zhvilluar me Sekretarin e Përgjithshëm te Ministrisë se Mbrojtjes, është vendosur qe kontrolli te filloje ne 10 korrik dhe Ministria do te vendose ne dispozicion te gjitha materialet e kërkuara. Opozita ka deklaruar se përveç çështjes se gradave dhe rolit te shërbimit informativ te ushtrisë do te hetoje edhe dyshimet për trafik armesh. Vendimi për te kontrolluar Ministrinë e Mbrojtjes u mor ne 18 maj me votat e mazhorances dhe opozitës ne Komisionin e Sigurisë dhe është parashikuar qe ky hetim do te zgjasë 3 muaj.
