Rreth 42 mije maturante ne te gjithë Shqipërinë, i janë nënshtruar këtë te shtune provimit te matematikes. Teza e këtij testimi te dyte te detyruar për maturën shtetërore, përmbante 25 pyetje, një pjese e tyre me zhvillim dhe pjesa tjetër me alternative. Sipas maturanteve te cilët kane pasur dy ore kohe për provimin, tezat ishin te nivelit mesatar. Shume prej tyre u shprehen se ndryshe nga provimi i letërsisë, ky i matematikes ishte brenda programit orientues. Vlershmi maksimal sipas ministrisë se arsimit për këtë provim është 50 pike. Çelësi i përgjigjeve publikohet pak ore pas përfundimit te testit, ndërkohë qe te hënën do te shpallen rezultatet e provimit te pare te maturës shtetërore, atij te letërsisë dhe gjuhës shqipe, i cili u mbajt me 2 qershor.
