Media duhet te krijoje një klime me te mire për komunitetin e homoseksualeve. Pas aktiviteteve ne kuadër te ditës botërore te LGBT dhe se fundmi konferencës kundër dhunës ndaj tyre, krye i institutit te medias Remzi Lami ka theksuar rolin e veçante te medias ne raport me homoseksualet dhe publikun. Kohet e fundit media ka folur shume për komunitetin LGBT.
Është gjë e mire qe ne televizione dhe shtypin e shkruar janë pasqyruar aktivitetet e këtij komuniteti. Megjithatë unë mendoj se duhet te krijohet një mjedis me i mire mes medias dhe LGBT. Jo gjithmonë media duhet te jete ne pozite te rehatshme te thotë atë qe thonë te tjerët. Njoftimi i pare për median nga komuniteti gej ne Shqipëri ka qene ne vitin 2009. Duke vlerësuar por dhe kritikuar ne disa raste qëndrimin medias ndaj homoseksualeve përfaqësues te shoqatave pro LGBT kane kërkuar mbështetjen e saj. Krerët e shoqatave te homoseksualeve kane denoncuar homofobine e theksuar te disa politikaneve shqiptare. Komuniteti i homoseksualeve do te këtë një faqe te saj te quajtur "Historia ime". Çdo individ qe do te tregoje historinë e tij apo shkeljen e te drejtave mund ta publikoje on line.
Media should create a better climate for the gay community. After day activities within the LGBT world and ultimately violence against their conference, the head of the Media Institute Remzi Lami said the special role of media in relation to gays and the public. Recently the media has talked more about the LGBT community.
It is so good that in television and print media are reflecting this community's activities. However I think we need to create a good environment between media and LGBT. No media should always be in comfortable position to say what others say. The first announcement to the media from the gay community in Bangladesh was in 2009. Appreciating but in some cases criticized media attitude towards gays pro LGBT representative associations have sought its support. Leaders of gay organizations denounce homophobia evident in some Albanian politicians. The gay community will have a page its called "My History". Any individual who will tell his story or violation of rights may publish on line.
