Partia Socialiste, iniciatorë e projektligjit për shfuqizimin e plote te moratoriumit te skafeve, mendon se duhen rritur kategoritë e mjeteve lundruese përtej propozimit te disa deputeteve te mazhorances. Pak para seancës se djeshme, deputeti demokrat Osman Metalla, Lefter Koka i LSI dhe Dashamir Tahiri i PDIU, depozituan një draft qe parashikon lejimin e lundrimit edhe te mjeteve me vela apo jahteve. Socialisti Artan Gaçi thotë se do te këmbëngulet gjate ri-shqyrtimit ne komisione te ligjit, për te rritur numrin e qytetareve qe përfitojnë gjate këtij sezoni turistik. Për demokratin Osman Metalla, përjashtimi i jahteve nga moratoriumi është një hap i mjaftueshëm, për te cilin mazhoranca është gati te japë konsensus. Disa javë më parë, 17 kryetare te bashkive e komunave bregdetare te majta firmosen një peticion me anë të të cilit deklaruan se mbajtja në fuqi e moratoriumit të mjeteve lundruese dëmton rëndë turizmin në zonat e tyre vendore, e për pasojë duhej shfuqizuar. Moratoriumi është ne fuqi deri ne shkurt 2013.
