Pas 5 muajve rënie me ne fund ka filluar ngjitja e kombëtares shqiptare ne renditjen e FIFA-s. Pas fitoreve ne miqësorët kundër Kuvajtit dhe Iranit kuqezinjtë janë ngjitur 5 shkalle me lart ne klasifikim e organizatës botërorë te futbollit për muajin qershor duke u pozicionuar ne vendin e 79 ne kuotën e 451 pikëve. Gjithsesi nga muaji dhjetor i vitit te kaluar e deri tani kombëtarja e futbollit ka një rënie me 5 shkalle ndërsa ne harkun kohor te një viti ka humbur 20 vende ne klasifikimin e përgjithshëm. Nga rivalet e kuqezinjve ne grupin e ardhshëm eliminator te kampionatit botëror Brazil 2014 Qipro ka ngritjen me te madhe plot 8 vende ne klasifikim ne vendin e 125. Tre pretendentet e grupit kane pësuar rënie: Zvicra minus 3 shkalle, Norvegjia ka rene 2 shkalle po ashtu dhe Sllovenia. E vetmja skuadër qe nuk ka lëvizura nga pozicioni i saj ne vendin e 131 është Islanda.
