Çdo lëvizje e automjeteve ne rrugët e Tiranes, problemet me qarkullimin, apo aksidentet, do te monitorohen 24 ore nga një qendër e posaçme për menaxhimin e trafikut. Pas marrëveshjes me kryetarin e Bashkise, Lulzim Basha, dy firma italiane ne muajin korrik nisin punën për rinovimin e sistemit te semaforëve dhe kamerave ne rrugët e kryeqytetit. Kryebashkiaku Basha deklaroi se projekti jo vetëm do te zgjidhe menaxhimin e trafikut problematik ne Tirane por do te shërbejë edhe për sigurinë rrugore. Projekti parashikon rinovimin e 51 semaforëve dhe vendosjen e 9 te tjerëve. 23 kamera do te monitorojnë non stop lëvizjet ne kryeqytet dhe te gjitha te dhënat raportohen ne kohe reale ne qendrën e menaxhimit te trafikut e cila do te vendoset pranë Bashkise. Po ashtu, ne çdo hyrje-dalje te Tiranes do te vendosen tabela informuese. Projekti me vlere 2.3 milion euro, financim i Bankës Evropiane për Zhvillim, parashikohet te përfundoje pas 1 viti e gjysme.
Any movement of vehicles on the streets of Tirana, circulation problems, or accidents, will be monitored 24 hours by a special center for traffic management. Following an agreement with the mayor, Lulzim Basha, two Italian firms start work in July for the renovation of the system of lights and cameras in the streets of the capital. Mayor Basha stated that the project will not only resolve the traffic management problem in Tirana but will also serve to road safety. The project provides for renovation of 51 traffic lights and placement of 9 others. 23 cameras will monitor the capital's non-stop movement and all the data reported in real-time traffic management center which will be located near City Hall. Also, in each entry-exit of Tirana will set the table information. The project worth 2.3 million euros, financed by the European Bank for Development, expected to be completed in 1 year and a half.
