Qytetaret ne Serbi kane nisur te votojnë ne balotazhin presidencial mes kreut aktual te shtetit, kandidatit te Partisë Demokratike, Boris Tadic dhe liderit te Partisë Progresiste Serbe, Timosllav Nikolic. Tadic, i cili njihet gjerësisht si një provropian dhe mbështetet edhe nga liderët e BE-se, ka qene ne një epërsi te lehte ne raundin e pare te gjashte majit dhe sipas sondazheve aktuale, ai është ende ne avantazh për te fituar një mandat te trete presidencial. Votat e Tadic pritet te rriten edhe me shume, pasi kandidati i trete i Partisë Socialiste, Ivica Dacic, ka shpallur zyrtarisht mbështetjen për te, duke e orientuar elektoratin e tij nga kandidati i djathte. Ndërkohë, sikurse njofton OSBE, përmes një komunikate për shtyp, te 90 vendvotimet janë hapur normalisht edhe ne veri te Kosovës. Qytetaret serbe ne veri, te cilët ushtrojnë te drejtën e votës ne Serbi, po marrin pjese ne këtë raund te dyte për zgjedhjet presidenciale. Zgjedhjet e 6 majit, janë zhvilluar ne mënyrë te qete ne Kosovë, qetësi qe është përshëndetur nga qeveria ne Prishtinë, pavarësisht se zyrtare te saj thane se këto zgjedhje s'kanë asnjë efekt juridik ne Kosovë.
