Kryeministri Berisha është nisur këtë te shtune drejt Çikagos ne SHBA, për te marre pjese ne datat 20 dhe 21 maj ne samitin e Aleancës se Atlantikut Verior. Ne këtë samit te nivelit me te larte te kryetareve te shteteve dhe qeverive, kreu i ekzekutivit shoqërohet nga zv/kryeministri dhe ministri i jashtëm Edmond Haxhinasto, nga ministri i mbrojtjes Arben Imami si dhe zyrtare te tjerë te larte. Ne ditën e pare te punimeve, te cilat do te çelen nga sekretari i përgjithshëm i NATO-s, Anders Fogh Rasmusen, kryeministri Berisha do te marre pjese ne sesion e hapjes se mbledhjes se Këshillit te Atlantikut te Veriut. Ne këtë sesion do te nderohen ushtaraket e NATO-s te rene ne krye te detyrës gjate operacioneve te aleancës. Ndërsa me tej ne ditën e dyte te punimeve, delegacioni shqiptar do te marre pjese edhe ne punimet e takimeve dedikuar luftës ne Afganistan dhe zhvillimit e forcimit me tej te kapaciteteve te NATO-s. Ne samitin e radhës pritet te jene te pranishëm edhe sekretari i përgjithshëm i OKB-se, presidenti i këshillit te BE-se, presidenti i KE-se etj. Vetëm pak ore përpara se ky samit te nise, përpara selisë qendrore te NATO-s ne Çikago kane nisur protestat.
Premier Berisha is launched this Saturday to Chicago in the U.S., to participate in the dates 20 and May 21 at the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance. The summit of the highest level of heads of state and government, the executive head accompanied by Deputy / Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Edmond Haxhinasto by Defence Minister Arben Imami and other high officials. On the first day of construction, which will be opened by the secretary general of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Prime Minister Berisha will attend the opening session of the meeting of the North Atlantic Council. In this section, shall be honored NATO military fallen in the line of duty during coalition operations. While further in the second day of work, the Albanian delegation will also participate in the proceedings of meetings dedicated to the fight in Afghanistan and further development and strengthening of capacities of NATO. The next summit is expected to be attended by UN Secretary General, the President of the Council of EU, EC President, etc.. Just a few hours before the summit to start, before headquarters of NATO in Chicago have launched protests.
