Shqipëria bojkoton Samitin e Ukrahinës qe do te mbahet javën e dyte te majit me krerët e shteteve te Evropës Qendrore dhe Juglindore. Ashtu si qëndrimi i disa vendeve evropiane edhe presidenti i republikës Bamir Topi deklaroi bojkotin e tij ne shenje proteste ndaj keqtrajtimit ne burg te ish-kryeministres se Ukrainës, Julia Timoshenko. Vendimi i kreut te shtetit Topi është bere publik gjate një takimi me homologun malazez Fillip Vujanociv. Ndërsa kreu i Malit te Zi nuk ka bere asnjë koment rreth qëndrimit te shtetit te tij ne samitin e Ukrainës, aktivitet qe deri tani është bojkotuar nga 5 shtete, Austria, Çekia, Gjermania, Italia dhe Sllovenia me argumentin se po shkelen te drejtat e njeriut. Gjate takimit me homologun malazez qe përkon edhe me ditën botërore te medias, presidenti Topi i është bashkuar apelit te "Freedem House" për lirinë dhe pavarësinë e medias nga politika. Pas pritjes zyrtare, takimit te dy çifteve presidenciale dhe bisedimeve dypalëshe krerët e shteteve shprehen bashkëpunimin e mire mes dy vendeve. Kreu i Malit te Zi deklaroi respektimin e te drejtave te shqiptareve edhe pse qeveria malazeze ka hartuar një projektligj ku ndalon valëvitjen e flamurit shqiptar brenda territorit te Malit te Zi. Presidenti i Malit te zi është takuar me kryeministrin Sali Berisha, kryetaren e Kuvendit dhe pjese e axhendes është edhe vizita ne Bashkine e Tiranes.
