Vetëm katër vitet e fundit mbi 6 mije gra kane denoncuar bashkëshortet e tyre për dhune sistematike ne familje. Nga te dhënat qe disponon ministria e punës 4300 prej tyre janë dëmtuar rende si pasoje e ushtrimit te forcës. Por statistikat flasin edhe për 1 mije meshkuj qe kane denoncuar ne polici dhunën e grave e shoqëruar edhe kjo me dëmtime te konsiderueshme. Megjithatë pavarësisht se numri i dhunimeve brenda familjes nga 2008 deri ne 2011 pothuajse është 3-fishuar vetëm gjysma e te dhunuarave pra 3500 kane kërkuar një urdhër mbrojtjeje. Ministria e Punës ka kërkuar një angazhim me te madh nga njësitë vendore ne evidentimin e rasteve te diskriminimit gjinor. Ndërsa kreu i OSBE-se Wollfarth kërkoi qe barazia gjinore mos te aplikohet vetëm ne rastin e votimit, por edhe ne vendimmarrje dhe zbatimin e legjislacionit.
Just four years over 6 thousand women have reported their wives systematic violence in the family. From the data available to the labor ministry 4300 of them are seriously injured as a result of the exercise of force. But the statistics speak for a thousand men who have denounced the police violence that women accompanied with considerable damage. However despite the number of rape within the family from 2008 through 2011 is almost 3-folded only half of 3500 have thus violated seeking a protective order. Ministry of Labour has called for a stronger commitment from local governments in identifying cases of gender discrimination. As head of the OSCE Wollfarth urged that gender equality is not applied only in case of voting, but also in decision making and implementation of legislation.
