Tensionohet edhe me shume situata ne Kavajë, pas përplasjeve te demokrateve dhe socialisteve për postin e drejtorit te Ujësjellësit. Pak dite pas marrjes se detyrës, drejtori Gentjan Daja, i zgjedhur nga socialistet, është marre nga forcat e policisë ne zyrën e tij dhe është shoqëruar për disa ore ne komisariat. Pas kësaj, para komisariatit janë grumbulluar dhjetëra punonjës te Ujësjellësit dhe Bashkise se Kavajes. Por drejtues te policisë nuk kane pranuar te japin asnjë sqarim zyrtar deri ne orën 11:30 kur e liruan Dajën. Mosdhënia e një shpjegimi irritoi protestuesit, te cilët tentuan te bllokojnë edhe furgonin e policisë me efektive te Tiranes, qe shkuan posaçërisht ne Kavajë për shoqërimin e Dajës. Përplasja për postin e drejtorit te Ujësjellësit te Kavajes mes te majtëve e te djathtëve ka nisur prej afro dy javësh. Socialistet qe kane 64 % te aksioneve, zgjodhën këshillin e ri drejtues dhe kreun e ri te Ujësjellësit. Por ish-drejtori Helidon Plaku, i komanduar nga demokratet, iu drejtua Prokurorisë me padi penale, duke pretenduar dhunimin e zyrës se tij.
