Prokuroria ka në dorë nëse ndaj ish-nënkryetarit të KLD-se, Kreshnik Spahiu, do të nisë procedim penal ose jo. Kjo pasi Kuvendi i Shqipërisë ka depozituar pranë organit te akuzës raportin e dalë nga komisioni i ngritur nga PD për Spahiun dhe një kallëzim penal ndaj tij, për shpërdorim të detyrës në kohen kur ushtronte funksionin e nënkryetarit të KLD. Ne bazë të këtij relacioni, Prokuroria do të shqyrtojë nëse ndaj Spahiut janë kushtet për tu ngritur një akuzë. Ky raport, dy ditë më parë i është dërguar nga zyra e protokollit te Kuvendit dhe Kontrollit te Lartë të Shtetit, kur për ish-nënkryetarin e KLD, demokratet në komision pretendojnë se ka shfrytëzuar para për fushatat e Aleancës Kuq e Zi. Aleanca Kuq e Zi ka reaguar ne lidhje me këtë veprim, duke shtuar se nuk mund te behet prangosja e Spahiut dhe as kauzës Kuq e Zi. Kuvendi miratoi ne 1 mars me 69 vota pro dhe 54 kundër raportin e hartuar për shkarkimin e Kreshnik Spahiut nga nënkryetar i KLD-së.
