Kuvendi i Shqipërisë është përfshirë nga diskutimet mbi disa ndryshime ne ligjin për tatimin mbi te ardhurat. Drafti parashikon rritjen e nivelit te te ardhurave për vetëdeklarim nga 200 mije ne 2 milion leke, si dhe shtyrje te procesit nga prilli ne shtator te këtij viti. Grupi i PS-së e cilësoi nismën te dështuar, pasi administrata e ka te pamundur ta realizoj atë ne kohe. Ndërkohë ministri i Financave, Ridvan Bode, vlerësoi ndryshimet ne këtë ligj. Sipas tij, taksa e sheshte e mbajti Shqipërinë larg krizës ekonomike botërore. Sipas përfaqësuesve te opozitës, taksa e sheshte i merr një qytetari mbi 5 milion leke ne 10 vjet, ndërkohë qe taksa progresive e propozuar nga opozita i kursen mbi 20 milion leke çdo deputeti.
