Çështja e falsifikimit te statistikave zyrtare rrezoi marrëveshjen e nëntorit te kaluar mes palëve, për te miratuar me kompromis ndryshimet ne Kodin Penal. Mazhoranca nuk pranoi amendimin e socialisteve, qe parashikonte dënim me burg për zyrtaret qe publikojnë te dhëna statistikore te rreme. Drafti i opozitës u mbështet me argumentin e shmangies se modelit grek ne financa, duke shpallur abuzivisht te dhëna false për rritjen ekonomike. Ky ishte neni qe te majtët nuk pranuan te veçohej nga paketa për një moment tjetër konsensusi, duke deklaruar votën kundër Kodit ne parlament. Por me herët, mazhoranca nuk ra dakord dhe rrezoi një tjetër amendim te PS, qe vendoste para përgjegjësisë penale kryeministrin apo ministrat, për akte qe sillnin pasoja. Për shumicën ky propozim cenon barazinë e shtetasve. Ky ishte diskutimi i fundit i paketës se ndryshimeve ne Kodin Penal, qe rrezikon te mos miratohet ne kuvend pasi kërkon shumice te cilësuar votash.
