Kryetari i partisë Socialiste Edi Rama ka akuzuar mazhorancen se qëllimisht po pengon punën për finalizimin e dy reformave, asaj zgjedhore dhe parlamentare. Në mbledhjen e grupit kuvendor, Rama tha se afatet janë të pamjaftueshme në kushtet kur nuk ka vullnet nga PD për ti çuar përpara.
"Jemi shumë të shqetësuar lidhur me dështimin e procesit në raport me afatet. Sot, sipas afatit duhet të ishim drejt finalizimit të reformës zgjedhore në pak ditë të mbetura të shkurtit, jemi shumë larg këtij objektivi dhe kjo për shkak të një zvarritje nga pala tjetër," theksoi Rama. "Nënvizoj se në këtë aspekt ne do të mbetemi krejtësisht të vullnetshëm dhe nga ana tjetër, të shprehim shqetësimin që reforma zgjedhore në asnjë mënyrë nuk duhet të kompromentohet," theksoi ai. Edhe një dite me pare kryesia e PS shprehu shqetësim për qëndrimet frenuese te demokrateve ne komisionet qe po punojnë për reformat me te rëndësishme ne vend.
